Story

Rawhiti Trees & Shrubs was set up by Aidan Cowley. Aidan studied Agriculture at Lincoln University then spent 45 years in the farming industry. He has been involved in every aspect possible, crop manager, share milker, diary farm owner, rural contractor, rural realestate agent, and dry stock farmer.

Throughout the years his hobby and interest has always been with plants. On every farm he owned he would plant trees wherever possible, from orchards and pine trees, to areas of New Zealand natives.

Now at semi retirement age Aidan took his passion a step further and started growing plants from seeds and cuttings to create a nursery of all things green. The nursery is filled with hues of greens from shrubs, flaxes, grasses, and trees.

The nursery is run alongside Aidans rural realestate job, and Sharon his wife is also in the mix helping out when she can.
